To Cambridge by train:

- From London, go to either King's Cross station or Liverpool Street station for direct trains to Cambridge.
- From the North, change at Peterborough, and catch a train via Ely for Cambridge.
- From the East, travel via Ely. Most trains from Norwich or Harwich/Ipswich stop at Cambridge, but you may have to change at Ely.
